A Guardian Weapon Team consists of two Eldar Guardians with an appropriate Exotic Weapon Proficiency for the weapon they are operating, and Awareness +10. Finally, some Guardians operate in pairs controlling a floating heavy or support weapon, providing additional firepower for their kin.This pilot profile should be used in conjunction with the vehicle rules described in Vehicles and Starships of the Eldar. Alternatively, a Guardian Pilot can be created by removing the warrior‟s Shuriken Catapult and adding one of Drive (Skimmers) (Ag) +10, Drive (Walkers) (Ag) +10 or Pilot (Military Craft) (Ag) +10.A Storm Guardian replaces his Shuriken Pistol and Eldar Laspistol with a Shuriken Pistol (20m S/3/5 1d10+2 R Pen 4 Clip 40 Reload 2 Full Reliable) and a Best Craftsmanship Mono-Sword (1d10+4 R Pen 2 Balanced), and gains the Ambidextrous and Two-Weapon Wielder (Ballistic, Melee) Talents. These Storm Guardians are more likely than most to be former Aspect Warriors. Guardian forces consist of two main types – the tactically flexible Defenders, and the more assault-oriented Storm Guardians. ![]() As the number of dedicated, professional Eldar troops – the Aspect Warriors – in a Craftworld are simply too few to meet all threats, those Eldar dedicated to a civilian path serve as Guardians in battle, forming the bulk of the Eldar armies. All adult Eldar, however, are trained in the arts of warfare and can be called to arms if their Craftworld is threatened. In times of peace the Guardians pursue their normal civilian roles. Guardians are the militia troops of the Eldar Craftworlds.
